: Dreams :

Plant it in the air or in the ground?

it's either you dream an endless dream
or you place a root for it in your life

whether it's imaginary lines
or a realistic engineer's workplan

'You' choose

"Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib sesuatu kaum sehingga kaum itu mengubah nasib sendiri."

when i was 7, in Primary 3
in an art class, i drew a window sill
not a plain 2-D rectangle shape
but one with angles and dimensions

if you ask me what's my first dreamcatcher
i'd say..a 7-year-old view of the world

Dream:
Architect

Workplan:
Structure of my life

my window-sill
my bridge
my 20-feet long cables that stretches to one end to another
glazed windows and reflections
doorknobs and door cracks
one mm scale drawing of sills and columns
the exquisite details

i never gave up

what am learning now
is the ground where it'll stand
and the sky it'll gazes on

whether you plant it in the sky or the ground
you decide whether it stands or just flew past by

my building's there
am gonna build it
*tight fist*

Am gonna build it

This is a draft entry i wrote on the 31st October
Just came around to post it
and due to recent circumstance, felt it fitting
for my two lil' sisters
one connected by blood
one connected by the same faith

that dreams you have at this age (teens)
you don't know how it would shape up to be in the future
lil' M have a dream
i was there with her to work hard, together for it
and yet the path chosen for her was woven to a different direction
she, who has considered it
willing to step in that different direction

to lil' P
you thought your dreams were not worth considering
coz' everyone around you put values such as materials, financial, etc
without considering to ask 'you' how 'you' feel about it
i told you to step on the present path
work your best in it
at the same time
work your best for your own future dreams now, too

i heard a mothers' confession recently
her daughter wants to be a doctor
but the government had offered her a rather special scholarship in something else
she took it and was one step away to that direction
her mother pull her aside and ask this simple thing
"do you still want to be a doctor?"
"you don't have to choose this just because it was offered to you on a plate"
"what do YOU wanna be?"

that girl, that daughter
chose to be a doctor
and now, she's in training
wasn't excellent in her studies when she first wove her own dreams
but she made it through

my dear loves
you 'can' too
sweet blessings
from Me to You
